There are a number of clubs providing companionship in a friendly atmosphere run under the Strathcare umbrella. Strathcare owns and runs a specially adapted bus which is able to transport door to door the elderly or less able passengers typically within the Strathearn area on behalf of the clubs. The bus can take wheelchairs via the tail lift.
The Library run
Once a month in the afternoon the bus takes passengers from their homes to the library in Crieff for a visit lasting an hour.
The Wednesday Club
This meets every Wednesday afternoon except during winter for an outing on the bus with a stop for refreshments.
The Thursday Lunch Club
During school terms, the RVS runs a lunch club at Duchlage court, Crieff and transport is provided by the Strathcare bus.
The Friday club
Previously known as the Sunshine or Daybreak club, it meets for an afternoon outing in the bus except during winter with a stop for refreshments.
Monthly there is the opportunity for residents of Richmond house and Dalnaglar residential homes to enjoy an afternoon outing. Also once a month there is a shopping trip to Dunblane and a separate Muthill shopping outing.
The Stroke Club
This independent group meets fortnightly throughout the year with Strathcare providing a number of summer outings and transport to stroke focussed events outwith the Crieff area.
The bus also provides various ad hoc outings to a number of other groups and organisations.
